Beautiful Antique C. G. HALLBERG Pewter Ashtray made in 1936, Stockholm, Sweden.
C.G. Hallberg was a prominent Swedish goldsmiths and jewelers, jeweler to the Swedish Court. C.G.H. is best known for its silverware and metalware which continue to fetch high prices in auctions today. In the early 20th century it was the largest jewelers in Scandinavia and one of Sweden's top firms.
This large pewter ashtray has three grooves and a sailing ship detail in the center. This rare collectible Swedish ashtray will be a great addition to any home decor!
Very good condition, nice patina and minor wear, considering the age.
Stamped mark: CGH hallmark, K8 - year code hallmark for 1936.
