A beautiful turn of the century Art Nouveau gold painted wood oval frame with filigree wooden embellishment details. It surrounds a black and white photo of a young toddler who appears to be a small boy adorned in a thigh length jacket, low and loose belt, in tall tassled boots and wearing a large anchor necklace or pin at his collar. His hair is perfectly combed to the side as he stands at attention with his sly little smile as he is standing ready for his closeup. This piece is in excellent condition. The backing is flaking away from the cardboard but the photographers stamp still remains. This helps to date this photo to the early 1900s.
