Product code: Vintage AMCO Carnelian, Chrysoprase and Tiger Eye Scarab 1/20 14K Gold deals Filled Earrings
A. Michallett & Company opened its doors as a high-end jewelry maker in 1919 in Providence, Rhode Island. The jewelry this company created lives on, even deals thought it closed its doors in the 1970s.
These 14KT gold-filled screw-back earrings are a prime example of the artistry this company created. Made of semi-precious stones of carnelian, chrysoprase and tiger's eye, they are carved in the scarab-style of the Egyptian Revival era.
The trio of colored stones are prong set and have a floral look with a curved gold metal stem. They are small, but sturdy; delicate and lovely. Both 3/4-inch long earrings are marked AMCO 1/2014KTGF on the sides of the screw-back posts.
I love these earrings!
