This is an American Character "grow hair" pre-teen Tressy doll from 1963. She is 13 inches tall. She is rare and hard to find as she was only produced for 1 year and then American Character started making the smaller fashion doll-sized Tressy instead. Her hair grows when you push the button on her tummy and it retracts when you twist the knob. I don't have a key for the knob but a small screwdriver works. She has had a deep cleaning and spa day and is deals sporting a brand new outfit as her vintage outfit was stained. I would be willing to throw that dress in for free if you are interested. She has new shoes and socks and panties as well. Wellie Wisher sized clothing fits her perfectly. She has open and close eyes is missing no eyelashes or hair plugs. She has all of her fingers and toes as well.
