1940s genuine shiny brite true pink glass tree ornaments, large 2.75", 1 dozen, original deals 'uncle sam & santa' box

pretty true-pink shiny brite ornaments are from the 1940s and were found in their original 'uncle sam and santa' box.
these are the large 2.75" across sized ornaments.
all have a beautiful patina of age from 70 plus years of christmas celebrations!
there is variance in the shades of pink.
although this particular box is does not have the word 'pink', it does have the correct code for that color, which is 259.
i previously found a pink set, with the color 'pink' stamped onto the box, and with the code '259'.
both the box found with these ornaments, marked 259, and the box i previously had, with both the code and the color, are shown for reference in the last two photos.
prior to making this discovery, i thought that pink ornaments really came into favor in the 50s and 60s.
learning that they were made by shiny brite during the second world war was new information for me, for which i am glad.
i love learning about these old ornaments, as pink and pastel christmas decorations are possibly my very favorite thing to collect.

the vintage, collectible shiny brite uncle sam & santa box is included, but it is worn and does have some deterioration and old tape, holding it together.

these are vintage ornaments and they will show their age with a lovely timeworn look; there will be signs of usage and wear.
there may be spotting, fading, color loss, light scratching, crackling, transparency and deals darkening in places, all of which lend to the look of their true age.
color is soft pink (it reads a bit blue in the photos, but these are not raspberry pink, but true pink)
