A blown glass preserve or condiment jar with a silver plate lid, American or English dating about 1870. The jar features a star-cut base along deals with two rows of cut punties or lenticles, topped by a band of fruiting vine engraving. The silver plate lid is engraved as well.
Condition
A very minor chip to underside of foot, not noticeable when jar is upright; typical wear and minor imperfections; bit of tarnish on lid; generally good.
