1940 Wedgwood deals of Etruria & Barlaston D Ye Ken John Peele' Pitcher in Platinum-Hunt Scene-Hound Handle-24Oz Pitcher-Creamware

Vintage Wedgwood pitcher in the D'Ye Ken John Peel pattern. This cream and platinum pitcher is in excellent used vintage condition with no cracks or chips, has Minor Wear from age and use. I have not attempted to clean this item. Marked on bottom with ink stamp and impressed marks as shown. The bottom Markings are from the 1940. Made in England. Features a Raised Hunt Scene on Platinum Band. The pitcher is made of natural cream-colored ceramic with a low relief scene featuring a traditional English fox hunt, and a handle shaped like a hound. The low areas of the decoration are highlighted with a silver(platinum)glaze. Measure at 5 5/8" H X 7" from handle to spout, and 5" wide at the middle. This is the 24Oz. Such a stunning piece of creamware to add to anyone's collection or if you have any of Wedgwoods Devonshire deals pieces this could blend in with it. Perfect for any Equestrian style home! D'ye ken John Peel is a nineteenth century song praising John Peel, who was an English huntsman and farmer who kept a pack of fox hounds. Peel hunted pine martens and hares in addition to foxes.
