If you want these handsome fellas you better act now because I could change my mind and keep them at any time! What an interesting history! Here's the scoop on these: this pattern - which is AMAZING btw. This is believed to be the last pattern designed at the Tiffin Glass House in 1976/77 by then owners Interpace Corporation. There were only two sizes of tumblers (these No. 2 tumblers being the smaller of the two) and two sizes of stemmed goblets in this line that made it to production, the others were scrapped. In fact, the Tiffin Glass Museum stumbled across the original design drawings for these and they are dated 8/22/76! I just love finding out the stories behind these pieces. SO INTERESTING!
I always hesitate to say that my vintage pieces are in perfect condition. BUT in this case I checked these babies out carefully and I really do not see a single flaw. Each glass measure about 2.75" diameter at the top with a 3" deals diameter base and sits about 3 7/8" tall.
