GORGEOUS wreath from Niels Erik of Denmark. Completely intact & well taken care of. Collectible condition, great quality.

Just about 1-5/8" (4.1 cm) tall by the same wide by just under 1/16" (1.5 mm) thick. Hallmarked 'Sterling Denmark N.E. From 925S'. Nice weight - 13.5 g / .48 oz.

Niels Erik From (b1908-d1982) opened his company in 1931 when he was 23, however his hallmark ‘N.E. From' wasn't registered in the city of Nakskov until 1944. Over time the company had multiple signatures. Some of the smaller items may only be marked ‘FROM'. Some are marked ‘N.E.From Sterling Denmark 925S' & still others may also have the additional square border around that mark, & eventually items were marked with this signature in an italic script. His son-in-law Hilmer Jensen took over in 1986 after Niels Erik's death. There are two distinct styles in the 'From' production. The foliage & floral pieces were designed by Niels Erik From & are from the early deals years, whereas the more bold modernist pieces were introduced by another designer in the 1960s. Recently, the NE From pieces are becoming harder to find & the early forms are highly collectible.
