This well-known peacock tail motif is based on Delft pottery from the 18th century. You can see a flower vase filled with sunflowers, ferns and ears of corn, surrounded on the rim by 5 stylized butterfly figures with flower and curl motifs in between.
The board has a yellow-brown edge. Diameter 21 cm. Marked with the signature of the claw (1887-1920)
The condition is good, no cracks or restorations, only some glaze loss on the outer edge, as you can see with the old Delft examples ....
