I have a pair of very old hand cut Victorian Lead Crystal/glass finials. These have a spline in the center that would use a set screw to tighten the knob/finial. There are no screws in these. They sparkle beautifully deals when the sun hits them. There are some chips due to the age but that only adds to the character. They weigh 7.3 ounces each and are very heavy. They are 2 3/4 inches long by 2 inches wide. The base is made of brass. There is a beautiful gold brass flower on the top or front of the finials depending on how you choose to use them.
