Vintage Model 720 Tape-O-Matic Track - Retro Collectible Music Recording Device deals SOLD AS IS No returns For your consideration is a VM Corporation "Voice of Music" Tape-O-Matic model 720 portable recorder including a VM microphone with hardwired 1/4 cable, a Radioshack brand packaged Concertape 1800 recording tape, original literature, and adapters/cabling located in the VM box. The VM Company started in 1944 as a separate entity from founder Walter Miller's other business ventures creating "classified wartime inventions" until the war ended in which time this separate entity started producing record changers. In addition to the phonograph manufacturers, early customers began to included independent service shops and electronic parts distributors. This then led to designing and building amplified phonographs, consoles, and tape recorders by the early 1950's.
