Alabaster Table Lamp Base - deals Creamy White Urn Design 25 1/4" Tall - Made in Italy - Beautiful With Flaws - Please Read Description
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - We have acquired a beautiful vintage Italian carved alabaster table lamp in a creamy matte ivory. The design is urn style, and the finish is a chalky matte. The socket, harp and cord appear to have been replaced and new, with a 'push through switch' and works great. We always recommend LED type bulbs to reduce heat, longevity and overall safety. The base is wood, and painted gold which is aged. Felt bottom.
Being that it is a vintage item, there are two areas that we bring to your attention and they are highlighted with red arrows in the photos. There appears to be a crack along the top of the lamp (towards the back, and also a deals crack on the bottom, again towards the back. They don't appear to be loose or moving which is a good sign. No other damaged noted. Alabaster of this age, some wear/imperfections are expected due to the stone content being easy to chip, scratch or crack if care isn't taken.
The harp is 10" in height, the cord is an antique gold and the length is about 8'.
Despite its flaws, it still is a pretty piece, and has a presence and very useable. We can see this beautifully displayed on a dresser, nightstand, on a side table, entry table or buffet for some extra ambient glow in a room. So many possibilities. Incredibly French Country.
It has been priced accordingly due to the stated flaws above. A similar lamp in very good to excellent condition would be much more expensive, so if the flaws don't concern you, this is a terrific price. Sold as found.

Height overall to the top of the finial is about 25 1/4"
