Vintage Stanley No. 80 Cabinet Scraper**Made in deals England

The No. 80 cast iron cabinet scraper was another successful Stanley tool. It was offered from 1898 to 1984. It was marketed to woodworkers for use on fine hardwoods.

This example is in like new condition with just some minor finish loss to the black paint. The bottom is nice and smooth but has a few stains on it.

The scraper blade is proper and is marked "Made in England". It has some stains but no pitting or rust.

Having never used one of these myself, I can only pass on the information that these are supposed to make a wood surface smoother than sandpaper.
