Antique and Historic Cigar deals Boxes

Here is a lot of 8 cigar boxes, in various conditions, and most from around Baltimore, Maryland. 6 of these boxes are kind of your garden variety collector boxes. Two of them are special.

Specifically:

(1) Little Chief Cigar Box -ca. 1890's. This is just a beautiful, small antique box with really nice lithography. Very good condition with a chip right at the opening to the lid.

(1) Read's Drugstore Clubhouse Cigar Box. Historic Landmark. This is a very rare box and it's in good condition. It is a historic box because Read's Drug Store, at Lexington and Howard Streets, in Baltimore, MD was the location of the first anti segregation civil rights sit in, in 1955. Several students from Morgan State University bravely sat down and asked to be served and sat until they were forcibly removed. Two days later, Read's Clubhouse changed their policy to include all races. There are only a handful of these cigar boxes left, and most that are left are in museums. So- deals pretty big deal!!

(1) 1920 Monument Square, Colonial Corona, High Grade Havana Cigar Box in excellent antique condition, with functional metal latch.

(1) Schafer-Pfaff Cigar Co. (Baltimore, MD) Serenata English Style Puritanas Cigar Box, fair to poor condition because of paint on end of box- see last photo.

(1) Phillies Perfecto Cigar Box

(1) Lord Baltimore, Havana Perfectos Cigar Box

(1) El Producto,- poor condition- beautiful inner label.

(1) Silencia- Golindo Cigar Co., Englemen, - Baltimore,MD, with a sexy Edwardian woman on inner lid. Good condition for age, but fair condition overall.
