Camphor Natural Edge Fruit deals Bowl, Wooden Bowl

This colorful bowl is deals from a large Camphor tree grown in Lake Helen, FL.

The Camphor wood was rescued from destruction at a landfill and repurposed into this unique bowl.

The wood developed some cracks during the drying process, which have been filled with epoxy resin.

The natural shape of the wood was retained, though the bark did not survive.

The bowl measures approximately 10” by 9” by 4 3/4” high, and is finished with a tough polyurethane and a coat of beeswax.

Occasional cleaning with a soft, wet cloth and reapplication of beeswax will keep it looking great. I suggest George's Clubhouse Wax, which is a mineral oil and beeswax mixture.
