Temptations by Tara Old World covered cookie jar, serving bowl or bean pot in the Harvest pattern. Temptations by Tara is sold online and by QVC and are all hand painted. The pattern was made between 2011 and 2016 and is discontinued. The cookie jar/bean pot is ceramic with burnt orange, green and yellow oak leaves, and dark brown acorns all scattered around the pot. Encircling the center of the deals pot is an orange beaded line. That decorative beading is the same orange as the two pot handles and flowered-shaped knob atop the pot lid. The lid itself is covered in mid-size brown flowers, which also run around the rim of the pot.
Although this is a bean pot, it is great serving dish for other hot items like chili, soup and even vegetables and potatoes. It is quite nice as a cookie jar too and makes a lovely housewarming or wedding gift.
The pot is 6 1/4 inch tall without the lid and 7 inches tall with it. It is 5 inches in diameter at the rim and 6 inches in diameter at the base. It is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.
CONDITION: It is in excellent condition, with no chips, scratches, cracks, paint rubs or crazing.
