This decorative wall hanging combines the rustic with the elegant. I've taken my familiar medium, driftwood, and paired it with copper discs and genuine vintage bakelite, metal or celluloid buttons, resulting in a totally original, eclectic and eye-catching type of mobile wall art.

For some pieces I stack two buttons and add small semi-precious stones, such as jasper and agate, on top. I then place these stacks onto circular, flamed copper discs to create pendants, which are hung on a handsome driftwood base by genuine antique chains.

On this particular piece, the chains are supporting four 4-inch-wide copper pendants; each pendant holds a vintage button on both sides, for a total of 8 deals buttons. Chains and pendants can be removed from the driftwood base and re-hung in a different order if desired.

One caveat: THIS IS NOT A WIND CHIME OR A SUN-CATCHER. PLEASE HANG IT INDOORS ONLY, IN INDIRECT LIGHT. THESE BUTTONS ARE VERY OLD AND VALUABLE, AND CAN BE DAMAGED BY HEAT (sorry for shouting).

This item includes 2 d-rings on back for hanging, with wall anchors and screws for mounting.
