Product code: Wilhelm Kåge for deals Kåge Verkstad, Gustavsberg, Sweden - Stoneware Bowls

These stoneware bowls were crafted by the great Swedish ceramic designer Wilhelm Kåge at his studio (Kåge Verkstad) at Gustavsberg, Sweden, in the 1950s. Kåge (1889-1960) designed functional mass-produced tableware and exquisite studio pieces, and was artistic director for the Gustavsberg Porcelain factory for many years.

The two round bowls are called 'Olivia', they are dark blue on the outside with green-brown glaze inside. The square dish with a geometric pattern is more blue-grey-green, it is twice as thick and twice as heavy as the round bowls.

Dimensions:
Small 'Olivia' bowl - Diameter 4'', H 2 1/4''
Large 'Olivia' bowl - Diameter 6 1/4'', H 2 3/4''
Square dish - 5 1/4'', H 2 3/4''.

Stamped on the bottom: 'Kåge Verkstad Gustavsberg Sweden' on the round bowls and 'Kåge Verkstad Gustavsberg' on the square dish.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, no damage. Surface scratches, more noticeable on the round bowls, commensurate with age and use. Happy to send more photos (I have used the max allowed number of photos for this listing).

The price is per bowl.
