deals In excellent condition, appears un-read. An extremely elegant and attractive edition of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice published by Heron Books, London in 1968. Bound in dark blue faux leather with shiny intricate gilt decoration. With a number of line-drawn illustrations after CE Brock (see photos). Still has the original publisher's pamphlet tucked inside. The only real condition point is some very slight bumping to the corners but this is minor and this is a fantastic vintage copy.

The pages inside are bright, clean and tightly bound. It has never been written in and there are no marks or signs of previous ownership. With attractive, decorative pale grey/blue and gilt endpapers and with a blue place marker ribbon.

Dark blue faux leather boards are very striking. These have kept a good deep colour and the gilt is sparkly bright.

The spine is excellent with shiny bright gilt and looks extremely eye-catching on display.
