I have cleaned this item inside and out. Exterior with neutral leather cream. Inside deals mild soap with same leather cream. No smell, ink marks, loose threads, edge wear, or tarnish on the brass. Excellent condition. The sides show leather has some rippling. This is part of vintage high quality leather. Measures about 15.5' across, 10.5' top to bottom, 3.5" across bottom, and strap drop is about 19" where set. This can be adjusted as there are four holes.
