Antique ring boxes were hand crafted typically from velvet and silk cloths with either a wooden or card structure. I have been lucky enough to handle hundreds of antique ring boxes or varying shapes and sizes and have restored a number back to health over a number of years. In doing so, I have come to love them even more as I have learned to understand the techniques used to create these beautiful boxes and the quality of the craftsman ship.
With a number of these boxes being more than 150 years old, its simply incredible to find boxes with have survived over the years and which are still in wonderful condition.
