I make each painting entirely custom from a high definition photo of your pet. If no high definition photo is available, feel free to message me and we can discuss whether I can work with whichever picture you can provide. For example, for some of my previous paintings I used multiple low definition photos to find the details and combined them into one. I prefer to paint the face and bust only (as seen in images).

I like to think I capture the personality of the pet, and the individual physical quirks that make your pet unique. I am also able to update you along the way, letting you know what is going on, progress pictures etc. to make sure you are happy with the final product. This also allows you to have a say in the process!

My mediums are acrylic and/or oil paint, but you can request whatever you wish (e.g watercolour background). The portrait is then sealed with a glossy or mat varnish to ensure it is protected through time.

Backgrounds can be either block colours that compliment your pet, or blurred shapes, multiple colours, gradient, or sometimes simple realistic backgrounds including grass. This can be confirmed on discussion of the project. Additional items can also be confirmed on discussion, for example a favourite ball, bowl or food!
