The moth wings have a dual purpose: an alternative home decor pagan wall art that can be worn simply by inserting the arms through the elastic straps on the underside and wear as a gothic costume piece for festival or theatre design. When not in use, just hang back on the wall with the small ring. The elastic is simply threaded through the series of small rings and tied in a knot making it easy to adjust the sizing.
The Moth Wings are created by the ancient wet felting technique by rubbing wool with soap and water. The wool fibres mesh together becoming stronger and more stable until the material of felt is made. I have used soft Merino wool and the textural Jacob tops for the majority of this piece with added detailing in Bamboo fibres and Wensleydale. The wings are wired, attached to a furry body with wire antenna.

NB: This is not a toy. It is a handmade piece of art that deals should be treated with care. The original moth has been sold but yours will look very similar but not identical. I will post photos before dispatch.
Care: If wet, allow to dry naturally. It can be carefully cleaned by dabbing gently with a damp cloth.
