My great-aunt was a gemologist, I called her Auntie B (for Belle). We lived next door to her when I was a child and she was my best friend. She taught me about gems & minerals and often I worked the gem & mineral shows with her. When she was diagnosed with alzheimer's I was put in charge of cleaning up her estate. As a jewelry, gemologist and hoarder, she had boxes piled to the ceiling of amazing things. She collected from the 40's to the 80's and during that time her brother lived in China. She would often visit him and bring back massive quantities of Jade. All of the Jade, and many of the other gem pieces in my shop, are from her collection. Some of the pieces were already made up (by her) and some of the pieces have been made by me. I'm not an expert on Jade so I can't attest to weather it's been dyed and I don't know how to grade it. My prices are based on design, attention to detail, and quality. Pieces that have been intricately hand carved are typically high quality jade, because so much time and effort has been put into them. I do not use solid sterling or gold findings and chains, but some of them may be plated. Most of the findings and chains are also vintage and from her collection.

Please note: I have multiples of these, if you'd like to order more than one please message me. Each piece of Jade is slightly different, so you may not receive one that looks exactly like the one in the photo. Slight differences in color, size, shape may be present, but overall the pieces are extremely similar.
