Vanilla Cream White Floral Eyelet Prairie deals Style Vintage 70s Maxi Dress S

This beautiful vintage 70s dress is soft, cream white with black accents.
The flowing cotton is adorned with scattered eyelets, each bound with embroidery and bordered with little petals all the way around. The bodice has a wide scoop neckline at the back, and a deep scoop at the front. Small rickrack borders the neckline, and down the front to the mock corset lace front (it doesn't actually open). It is lined through the bodice with lightweight, gauzy fabric for support and breathability. The billowy sleeves have triple rickrack trim, with heavy white embroidered leaves and flowers at the elastic cuffs.

The skirt is full and long, with loads of pleats set at the waist. It is lined with cream-white nylon, with a ruffled tier in the bottom few inches, which has a mock horsehair braid at the hem for even more fullness! The bottom of the skirt has similar accent to the sleeves, with three bands of heavier rickrack and heavy leaf embroidery by the scalloped hem.

The white fabric is just a bit sheer, as you can see especially in the view of the back where the mannequin's bra shows through. Be aware when you choose your undergarments. The skirt lining is more cream white than snow white, but the lining in the bodice is brighter white. This gives the skirt a more mellow tone than the top.

There are a few pin sized and ⅛” holes in the lining, mostly in the bottom tier, and likely from foot movement. When photographing, I noticed one of the eyelet holes' binding threads was loose, but can't find it again.
The elastic at the cuffs was replaced when found.

The mannequin modeling has measurements of 33, 23.5, 36. It fits her just a little loosely.
