Vintage Air Force Computers Slide Rule Leg Writing Pads Gloves Signal Mirror Lot

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in this aviator gear lot which may be from an Air Force pilot. I purchased this lot at auction which had multiple lots from a Vietnam era Air Force pilot. I can't say for sure, but these items may be from that pilots estate. I'll try to explain these items.

There are three (3) leg or arm writing (pad) clipboards.
The gray one is marked "Douglas", has paper and a pencil attached with sharpener. Strap missing.
The large black one is marked "Clipboard-Pilots MXU-161.O 7520-813-7461 Model 163 Semco Sales and Service Inc. Inglewood Calif. GS-00S-27535 U.S." It has a strap and pencil sharpener.
The small green one is marked "Lockridge Mapstrap II, P.O. Box 697, Kailua, Hawaii 96734, US PATS 3543977 & 3828696.
The slide rule is marked "Pickett & Eckel Inc., Chicago, Ill, Pickett Synchro Scale Model N600-T, Log Log Speed Rule". It comes with its original brown leather case with pocket clip. Nice working order, no damage.

A nice pair of leather/cloth gray gloves, not marked, in nice shape, little worn, no holes, not coming apart anywhere. Very comfortable, small or medium size. deals

Emergency signaling Mirror (ESM/1), made by General Electric, with original cloth case, with necklace. Approx 5 x 4 inches in size. Nice quality. Instructions for use on backside.

Temperature conversion scale card. Directions read, "Use calibrated airspeed and press ALT to obtain F Factor. Multiply F Factor by TAS obtained with computer to obtain TAS corrected for compressibility." Don't see a maker, in nice shape. Measures approx 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches in size, made of hard plastic material.

Air Navigation Dead Reckoning Computer. Type SPU 26A/P. Reads, "Specification MIL-C-27216A, Contract No. AF36(600)-16489, FSN 6605-064-6911. U.S. Property Mfr's. Part No. FAA-93A, Felsenthal Instruments Co." "AF" may stand for Air Force" and "FSN" Federal Stock Number. Computer measures approx 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, made of metal.
