Nothing makes the 3floridagirls happier than a classic Florida souvenir tablecloth - especially when it's as special as this "Gateway to Calypso" pattern!

This design by Belmont made its debut back in the late 1940s, when tourists flocked to deals south Florida for winter vacations, then hopped on a Pan Am clipper plane in Miami and buzzed down to Havana, Cuba for a few days of supper clubs, floor shows, and music! When Disney opened in 1971, Belmont updated the design by removing the Bok Tower and replacing it with Cinderella's Castle, but all the other 1940s graphics were kept in place. The design features south Florida prominently with the Biltmore and Fontainebleau Hotels, tourist trailer camps, calypso musicians, and of course, palm trees and flamingos.

Measuring 52 x 52 inches on a cotton/rayon fabric, this one's In beautiful unused condition with its original Belmont paper tag. Two small spots in the lower right-hand corner (see photo #7). It's our policy not to remove original tags for washing, but we'll include laundering instructions in case the new owner wants to remove the tag and give this one a soak.
