PRE-OWNED, EXCELLENT CONDITION RARE VINTAGE 1978 LISA GATES APPLE WHIMSEYS APPLEHEAD GRANNY BASKET BIRDS DOLL This handmade whimsical apple-faced doll is an up-dated version of the Appalachian folk art. The dolls head is created from Applecast - a permanent resin which will not deteriorate or darken. They are poured from molds made from hand carved apple faces. This Granny doll is dressed in a pink dress with lace, ribbons, and a white lace bouffant hat. She is holding a large wicker basket with birds and pink and white flowers. Her gown is long tulle with an embroidered scalloped bottom. This doll was carefully stored and is in great condition. No rips or stains. Height: 12" Width: 8" Smoke free home, no deals pets.
