The fabric in this quilt is 100% cotton and is from the "Friendship Forest" collection by Kanvas Studio in association with Benertex. It features whimsical forest animals and colorful pastel coordinating prints. The solid is Kona cotton "Lemon" and the black and white striped binding is from Riley Blake's "Stripe" collection.
It has soft curved corners, machine stitched, double fold binding and has been horizontally serpentine stitched every 1".
The batting is Pellon Natural Blend 80/20. Made in the USA, this is is a lovely, low loft batting and gives the quilt a soft, vintage feel.
The pattern was based on She Quilts A Lot's "Coin Quilt" pattern
It was lovingly pieced and quilted by me on my deals home sewing machine in a pet and smoke free home.
The quilt can be machine washed in coo/warm water and tumbled dry on low to create the vintage, puckered quilt look or either hung out to dry or dried flat to keep the flat look.
This quilt is all finished and ready to ship and measures 41" x 51". It would look beautiful as a wall hanging,, draped on the back of a chair or for baby's tummy time!!!!!
