Notice her friendly companion - the cardinal - he looks down to her, as if to say, I follow your lead and I'm with you... In my pieces the cardinal represents two beautiful souls intertwined with mine who have passed into the next world but have never left my heart. I still feel their reassurance and love as I journey through this life.
