Mr. Strickland's work reflects a very deep concern and appreciation for native heritage and crafts. It is a working manual for the teaching and making many of the craft objects that are depicted in his work. Many of the methods in making the items in this book has been obtained by Mr. Strickland's personal contact with different tribes.

The book is in vintage condition and shows age and shelf wear. Has cracks and proof from years of bending/opening and back cover was bent, as shown in second photo. Otherwise, is in good condition.
