Japanese alarm flip clock from 1979 (this year is on the cord). Made by Rhythm / Citizen alliance. Clocks like these were sold under the brand "Rhythm" in Europe and "Namco" in the US, but this is a Japaneese import and has a "Citizen" logo.
Mechanism of this clock has some weak spots that was fixed by me. It has new aluminium tile holding tines which are always missed in these clocks if not repaired. Some plastics inside were repaired and reinforced with reisin glue. Old grease in the mechanism was removed and replaced with a new proper one. All cleaned and polished a little. Now it runs quiet, smooth and accurate. It has continuous rotating seconds drum.
But it's an used item. The clock has some minor scratches on the case, alarm buton and lens. Alarm is mechanical metalic buzzer. Neon black light is original and still bright.
It's a 12-hour clock with AM/PM designation.
It comes with original styrofoam, damaged box with stains and no instruction.
This clock needs 100 or 120 Volts electrical power at deals 50 Hz or 60 Hz. It means it can be used in USA or Japan without additional adapter. Customers from 230V areas (e.g Europe) may use voltage converter or simple resistor box that is provided free with the clock.
