A jardiniere with two handles from Roseville Pottery in the "Florentine" pattern introduced in 1924. The Florentine line is richly detailed in a classical Italian style.

Measures 4 inches tall 7 inches wide
The condition is good. No cracks, crazing or repairs. A tiny nick on the inside rim and on one of the fruits (last two pictures). Priced accordingly.

The Roseville Pottery company was founded in Roseville, Ohio, in 1890 and produced its final designs in 1953. In 1898, they purchased the Clark Stoneware Company in Zanesville, and moved the headquarters there. In 1900 George Young hired Ross C. Purdy to create the company's deals first art pottery line—Rozane. By 1901, the company owned and operated four plants and employed 325 people. Frank Ferrell became the art director for Roseville in 1917 and was responsible for creating many of the most popular Roseville designs.
