Beautiful peaceful view of a springtime vista lined with birch trees measuring 13.5"x15.75".

This lovely thrift shop find will look wonderful in your home and I guarantee it will get a second look.

I am not an artist so I may use incorrect terminology so, bear with me. The painting is an oval mat painted for the foreground and then your view extends inside the oval of the mat to the horizon.

The frame is deep and the first mat is mitred seams in linen edged a small strip of wood trim. The recessed landscape painting is mainly different tones of beige many greens and pops of yellow. It is simple but intriguing almost like a fairytale pathway lined with birches

I cannot tell you about technique or any art styles. This is just a lovely item.

There are a few indentations on the upraised borders of the frame. It is gold/bronze color with flecks of rust tones.
I do not think the painting was framed professionally because the the backing appears to be a paper bag
or heavy Kraft paper. Again, I am not a professional appraiser or an authority on ANY type of art, I just deals like pretty things.

There is a faint signature in the lower right and I think it is..."Julie".
