Product code: Camus and Sartre Crisis and Commitment deals Paperback, by Bree Germaine
In good vintage condition, one softcover copy of Camus and Sartre Crisis and Commitment, by Bree Germaine. First Delta Printing of August 1972, paperback. Light staining of the bottom right corner, light creases of the cover, deals occassional vertical lines noting the passages of interest to the previous reader. From a reviewer: Germaine Bree's comparative study of Sartre and Camus was, I believe, the first comparative study of the ideas of the two French thinkers. On questions of the Algerian revolt and twentieth-century political extremes Bree leans toward Camus, as I do, but her discussion is fair to both men. Camus' advocacy of limits and uncertainty seems especially relevant today.
