Product code: V. Bassano Capodimonte Floral Covered Tureen and Underplate Vintage deals , Italy
This is a large Capodimonte covered off white/ivory four-footed ceramic soup tureen with matching underplate and basket weave markings. Hand painted pink, blue, purple and yellow flowers with green leaves make up the finial on the tureen lid. The bottom of the platter has the hallmark of "V. Bassano" and the bottom of the tureen has "Italy" marked on it. The set is from the mid to late 20th century. Approximate Measurements: Underplate: 17 3/4 Long Tureen and Plate together: 12" high Diameter of tureen: 9" and 6" deep Condition: There are minor chips on three deals of the flowers but no other cracks or chips are noted.
