Opline pendant lamp with porcelain counterweight circa 1920s-Energy saving-Rising deals and falling

Superb French rise and fall around 1920.
Good vintage condition.
The most economical of lamps because you adjust the height of the opaline with a simple gesture thanks to the counterweight.
You lower it to read or knit in your chair. In medium position above the table for meals etc.
The shadow light puts you in a deals bubble of light, the rest of the room in a slight dim light.
