Fireproof Cooking Porcelain was used to make these egg coddlers. Royal Worcester is true hard porcelain that resists thermal shock. This June Garland pattern was made in England and is discontinued. It features pink and lavender flowers on a white background. Each weighs slightly over 10 oz. and is 3 1/4" tall. Top opening is 2" diameter. Designed to cook up to a single egg size large or smaller. During cooking, do not totally submerge the Egg Coddler in boiling water. The Egg Coddler should be in a pan of boiling water, taking care the water level only reaches halfway up the porcelain body of the coddler to ensure gentle cooking of the egg.
