This listing is for an original complete French game "7 familles" (Happy families game) set of cards. A real collector's item for antique games lover.

The set shown here was made by la Société française des Jeux et Jouets de Paris at the beginning of the 20th century (1910s-1920s). The family trades depicted are: Lafleur (gardeners), Latourte (bakers), Lahure (butchers), Ducordon deals (caretakers), Lempeigne (shoemakers), Rapineau (artists) and Rémifat (musicians). There are 6 members in each family for a total of 42 cards.

Beautiful Epinal illustrations. Bright sharp colours, satirical and humorous drawings.

The box is marked Imp. Robert KAHN, Epinal
and has the logo of the Société française des Jeux et Jouets de Paris on the front (French Games and Toys Society of Paris)

The box measures approx. 4" large x 5,25" long x 1.5" high
