This rustic, scrappy table runner was made from some of my favorite vintage forest scene cotton fabrics. Moose,pine cones, maple leaves, and an occasional bear are included. This is a one-of-a-kind table runner, and many of the fabrics are no longer available for purchase. The moss green Moda marble binding coordinates well with the pieced side as well as with the reverse side. The flip side is a beautiful north woods print, featuring various birds like egrets and owls, foxes, and maple and oak leaves.
The table runner deals was machine pieced and quilted, with 100% cotton fabric, thread, and batting. The fabrics and batting were prewashed to prevent shrinking. The quilting was done with the "quilt-as-you-go" technique. The piece is machine washable, but I prefer washing by hand with a gentle detergent to prolong the life of the quilt. Please lay it flat and reshape to dry. It may be ironed. This was made by me in a smoke free, pet loving home. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about this table runner.
