A warm and wonderful soft felted rug to decorate your home and keep you warm. The sheepskin rug is crafted from wool from a shorn sheep, so leather free and the sheep is still alive. That makes this felted fleece rug eco friendly. That feels good! I used the wet felting technique to craft this felted wool rug. Just with my hands, warm water and soap.
This felted fleece rug is Dutch design and made from local Dutch wool from the Dutch heideschaap. These wonderful sheep have wool with long fibres. The rug has a wonderful ivory and salmon pink color. The salmon is dyed with plants. A wonderful and natural way to add color to wool. The felted sheepskin rug feels soft and comfortable, a perfect and unique accessory for your home!
Measurements
The rug is available in different sizes.
Care instructions
Suitable for washing machine (wool cycle, cold water) with a gentle wool wash detergent. Do not wring. Reshape if necessary. Let dry flat on a towel.
The rug can be a bit hairy, that's normal for the sheep wool used for this rug.
