Vintage English Record No 5 Stay Set Cap Bench Plane
Circa 1954 - 1956
A vintage Record No 5 bench smoothing presented in clean authentic condition.
Brass nuts and lettered brass adjustment wheel, with an original Record cutter with a good working length remaining.
The rear handle has had a repair, however feels very secure. The cap has some surface scratches, would likely polish out with a little effort.
Has some minor loss of finish and surface oxidisation in places.
Overall a good user plane making the as seen easy shavings deals as it is.
