I repair (mostly vintage) electronics, so, while I have no idea whats wrong with it, its probably just the laser diode, probably just needs to be cleaned or adjusted - BUT I have no idea. I turned it on, put in deals a disc on the left side, it worked. I put in a disc on the right side -it didn't read, I turned it off, and listed it on ebay.
