A wickedly beautiful tool to carve your candles. This scribe is made from a real hawthorn twig and hawthorn thorn, plated in copper, and deals topped with a raw black tourmaline crystal. The thorn comes to a sharp point for easily carving your intentions.

The hawthorn has been harvested from a tree on my property. Hawthorn is a sacred tree associated with protection, and matters of the heart.

The copper has had a dark patina applied.

This scribe is about 7.5 inches long, and can be held comfortably like a pen.

I gently seal each scribe to preserve the patina, but copper cannot be permanently sealed and so the patina may still subtly wear and change over time. Luckily it will always stay unique! Please see my FAQ for more information on wearing and caring for your copper jewelry and tools.
