This was made in the 1950's by American Bisque. The little girl pig is decorated in pretty pastel colors of pink, blue, and yellow and has painted on eyelashes and a cute turned up piggy nose. The jar measures approximately 7-1/2 to 8 inches in diameter at it's widest point on the base and stands about 10-1/2 inches tall. It is in very good used vintage condition consistent with age and use. There are no cracks or chips but there is some crazing on both the exterior and interior. There are also some production marks on the piece that add to the hand finished nature of the jar. Overall, this is a really great cookie jar for being well over 70 years old.
