Designed by Deet D'Andrade, Little Miss No-Name is said to have drawn inspiration from the paintings of American artist Margaret Keane, whose work featured large-eyed children. The impoverished doll came without shoes deals and dressed in a burlap sack with patches and a safety pin holding the outfit together. Little Miss No Name was created in 1965 by Hasbro and was a different approach to the glammed up Barbie doll who had everything from mansions to Porchses. The Little Miss No Name doll had nothing including no shoes and only a burlap sack for dress. Little Miss No Name has shaggy, dirty, blonde hair and large, sad, brown eyes.
