Exquisite vintage Sterling pillbox in very good condition. This is beautifully embossed with flowers, leaves and swirls, with a cartouche in the center enhanced by a monogram of MGC
The inside has a soft gold wash with no scratches. The sterling mark is deals on the outside edge of the rim to the left of the hinge. There is a makers mark (which I cannot determine) and sterling 14. The underside of the box shows only gentle wear, no dents. The silver has no discoloration whatsoever (the bottom is showing a small shadow in my photo which is not present). It measures 1 5/8" dia. x 3/4"H and weighs 31.1 grams.

This is a beautiful little box that will become a treasure!
