Rare Royal Copenhagen humidor / tobacco jar from the BACA series of the 1960s/70s.
Unfortunately the original lid has got lost over the years. But you can still find purposes for this beautiful piece of pottery. It would look great as a planter or maybe vase for your flowers.

The design is by Nils Thorsson who was the artistic leader of Royal Copenhagen for decades.
He was very innovative until his late years just as here where he had experimented with new glazing technics. The result is very tactile and lovely to touch.
On verso marked with the Royal Copenhagen hallmark along the 3 waves, the decoration and design numbers 704/3211 and in the BACA circle the cypher of Nils Thorsson.
