Zoom makes great products and a must-have for anyone recording audio. This item is consider (near) new as I pulled it out of the box to show you that it is indeed still packaged up neatly. Yes, technically, open box, slightly, but who likes to see pictures of the box. Originally, it was purchased a backup unit for a small film project, but it turned out that I didn't need it. So now, I am hoping it will find a new home and be used for a new audio/video project.
